Sunshine Style Co. is a sustainable resort wear accessories brand based in Florida. Each piece is handmade and inspired by the coast. Our headbands are hand sewn in Sunny Florida and we work with female artisans in Colombia and Morocco who hand weave our earrings and straw bags.

OUR STORY
Sunshine Style Co. was founded in 2020. When the world was on hold, Katie joined a virtual craft night where they made bow scrunchies. Instantly, she started getting DM’s on Instagram from her small but mightly following with requests to buy the scrunchies. That night, Sunshine Style Co. was born.
She started with $30 worth of striped seersucker fabric, a gifted $70 sewing machine and packed orders on her parents dining room table. Next we expanded into handmade knot headbands that quickly became our bestsellers!
In 2022, Katie started to slowly transition Sunshine Style into a sustainable focused brand working with artisans who create beautiful handmade accessories for your sunny travels. This year we are so excited to be expanding into handmade jewelry and handbags!
ABOUT OUR FOUNDER
Hi! I'm Katie. I live on the East Coast of Florida and have loved fashion since I was a child. Growing up, I was always an extremely shy kid and fashion was a way I could express myself.
My dream has always been to design and run my own apparel brand. I majored in Retail Merchandising from FSU, learned to sew in high school and surrounded myself with fashion.
In 2018, I started a fashion blog called Sunshine Style where I shared coastal style and all about the Florida lifestyle. I felt a strong pull from the Lord to set aside my blogger aspirations and lean into a new and exciting (yet terrifying) venture. And here we are!
Sunshine Style is heavily influenced by my casual coastal style, love for rattan, all things striped, colorful and classic and summer days as a child spent swimming in the Atlantic Ocean.

WHY SUNSHINE STYLE?
Years ago Katie worked at a church. An older gentleman, Mr. Davis nicknamed her sunshine. The word always stuck with her. With a little brainstorming, Sunshine Style was born.
Sunshine Style is a reflection of Katie's happy go-lucky personality, casual coastal style, adoration for the water and tropical travel.
